4月7日、ソニー・ピクチャーズ・エンタテインメントは、コロンビア・ピクチャーズのテーマ＆ウォーターパーク「Columbia Pictures’ Aquaverse（コロンビア・ピクチャーズ・アクアバース）」を、今年の10月にタイでオープンすると発表しました。

世界初となる「Columbia Pictures’ Aquaverse」は、タイのアトラクション開発企業アマゾン・フォールズ（Amazon Falls）との協力して、首都バンコクから90分のバンサライにある14エーカー（約5万7000平方メートル弱）の敷地に建設される予定です。
映画ごとに8つのエリアに分かれるパーク内では、『メン・イン・ブラック』をテーマにしたウォーターコースターや『バッドボーイズ』をテーマにしたゴーカートを始め、『ジュマンジ』や『ゴーストバスターズ』といったコロンビア・ピクチャーズの映画をテーマにしたアトラクションが楽しめるようになるとのことです。
