俳優として『星の王子 ニューヨークへ行く』のジャッフェ・ジョッファ王（ザムンダ国王）役や『フィールド・オブ・ドリームス』のテレンス・マン役を演じ、声優として『スター・ウォーズ』のダース・ベイダー役や『ライオン・キング』のムファサ役が有名な役どころでした。
