～STORY～
「誰もが忘れ去った、鏡に縛られし因縁（おもい）を、お前たちは知っているか――？(卑弥呼)」
彼(その青年)だけは、
鏡から瞳を逸らさずにいたー。
西暦の終わり。世界中で一斉に開示された、来訪者とのコンタクト(異種・接近遭遇)。
人類種ははるかに高度な文明・科学技術という知的生命(天からの来訪者だと名乗る光の小人)たちからの恩恵を得、我々人類はエデンの民となるという甘い夢に誰もが酔っていた・・・。
だが、それはまやかしであった。
急速な速度で開発進展してゆくトランスヒューマニズム(不死生命を得るための医療)技術。
世界各地にて頻発する、児童の大量失踪。
比例するかのように起こる、郊外での異形生物の氾濫。ファッション・タトゥ感覚で若者から流行していった身体遺伝子改造、爪・牙などバイオアクセサリ。いつしか緩やかな時のなか、人は合理化と引き換えに溢れる享楽のなか人間らしさという感覚・感情さえ忘れ、驚くほどのスピードで人々は天地が与えたもうたその姿さえも捨て去ろうとしていた、・・・。
事件は数ヶ月前に遡る。
東京の喧騒のなか、上京してからというもの一向にびた一文売れない自称・新人気鋭作家橘まほろこと、橘イヨ(26歳)は幼い子供のころより自らを悩ますビジョン、繰り返す怪現象に苦しむ不安な日々を送っていた。体質のため恋人や家族ともなかなかうまくいかず、祖母に教わっていた野草の天ぷら食で細々と食い繋ぐ隠者のような日々。
そんな日常をうち壊すかのように訪れた出逢いー。
「俺の側から離れるな。二度と忘れ去られたくなかったら・・・！ここから先は地獄の方がマシだぜ？！(テルヒコ)」
「なんなの、コイツら？！(イヨ)」
荒廃する街で自らを襲う、人外魔性の者(土蜘蛛)を斬り棄てた謎の美剣士、テルヒコという男と行動するはめになってしまった彼女をつけ狙う妖しき猛悪なる悪鬼、外道丸(酒呑童子)の毒牙。
テルヒコの姉、卑弥呼(ひみこ)の告げる
唯一現存する「開放」の聖地、日向國(現宮崎)
の扉を目指し、
二人は生き残った人類の残党軍(抵抗勢力※レジスタンス)が待つという九州は山門(やまと)へ向かう。
～MAIN CHARACTERS～
■ テルヒコ（TERUHIKO）
「諸々のマガゴト罪穢れを、祓い給え、清め給え――。」
外見年齢推定２０代後半。多くを語ろうとしないややぶっきらぼうな性格で、マガツカミ(邪神)を(古代の青銅剣)をもちいた神道の祓詞により祓い清める退魔の剣士である。その正体は滅ぼされた幻の国家邪馬台国の王子
(天照彦※太陽神ニギハヤヒ)であり、姉、卑弥呼より自らに託された神獣鏡(八咫鏡)の光に導かれ扉の奥隠された女神たちにより年を取ることも死ぬこともできず戦い続けるという呪われた業を背負う。
次期女王候補者であった姫君トヨを当時の大戦において護りきることができなかったトラウマを持ち人類の闇が存在する限り現れ続けるマガツカミを祓い続け、誰も愛することができないという宿命を持つ。愛車はスズキGSXR-125の赤。
■ 卑弥呼（HIMIKO）
邪馬台国の謎の女王。王国崩壊の際、弟であるテルヒコに鏡を託し消息不明となる。トヨの死を巡りテルヒコからは出会うたび悪態をつかれるなど彼とは確執がありたびたび対立している。時代を越え少女、老婆、妙齢の女性など様々な年齢や容姿といった姿で現れ、数多くの謎に満ちた言動を残す。ヒロインであるトヨの死を巡り弟との間には確執があり、彼から会うたびに悪態をつかれるが彼女にとってはそれも子犬の甘噛みのようなものであり、段違いの圧倒的な霊力を見せつけてゆく。

■ トヨ（TOYO）
邪馬台国の次期女王候補者であった少女。周囲の人々から恐れられるほどの強大な霊力を持ち、その人間離れした霊威から周囲の卑弥呼の存在を快く思わない巫女たちからは畏怖されると共に疎まれている。年の離れた兄貴分である教育係のテルヒコが自分をお子様扱いすることに不満を持っていたり、彼や臣下たちを振り回すなど天真爛漫さを持つ少女だったが、邪神たちによる邪馬台国襲撃の際、敵兵によって戦火の中で命を落としている。

■ 外道丸（GEDOMARU）
外道丸(げどうまる) 赤髪長髪色白の一見すると類まれなる絶世の美少年だが、その衣服の奥は黄泉に住まう妖魔として醜く邪鬼化が進んでいる。その正体は鎌倉時代都の姫君をさらい多くの人間たちの血肉を喰らった酒呑童子(しゅてんどうじ)という悪鬼。野生児的で子供っぽい性格で、はるか昔より仇敵であるテルヒコに何かと張り合う。自分を庇護してくれるもの、心を通わせた子供などには気まぐれな情などを見せるが、その正体は食人衝動を持つ紛れもなき悪鬼である。酒呑童子は戸隠山の九頭竜王の子ともいわれ、本作でも九頭龍の細胞の分身として顕現、スサノヲ系に因縁を持つテルヒコと歴史を越えた戦いを繰り広げる。九頭龍王の精神支配を受け禍津神の鎧を召喚する力を持つ。
■イトウ 生き残った人類残党軍(レジスタンス)の屈強な青年。誰より筋肉を信じているトレーニングを欠かさない頼もしい男。
■夏 レジスタンスの少女。ボーイッシュな風貌で度々少年に間違われるほど行動派。対マガツカミ用に呪印が刻まれたボーガンを愛用する。

The end of the Common Era. Contact with visitors (interspecies close encounters) was simultaneously revealed all over the world.
The human race had received blessings from intelligent life forms (the dwarves of light who claimed to be visitors from the heavens) in the form of far more advanced civilization and scientific technology, and everyone was intoxicated by the sweet dream that humanity would become the people of Eden…
But it was a deception.
Transhumanism (medical treatment to achieve immortality) technology was developing at a rapid pace.
Mass disappearances of children were occurring frequently around the world.
In proportion to this, there was an influx of monstrous creatures in suburban areas. Genetic modification of the body, like a fashion tattoo, became popular among young people, transforming them into beast-like beings through bio-accessories such as claws and fangs. Over time, in the midst of this slow pace, people abandoned even their senses and emotions of humanity in exchange for rationalization, and at an astonishing speed, people discarded their physical lives and adapted to the new reality…
The events date back several months.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, Iyo Tachibana (26 years old), a self-proclaimed up-and-coming writer whose real name is Mahoro Tachibana, has not sold a single penny since moving to the city. She lives in constant anxiety, plagued by visions and recurring strange phenomena that have haunted her since childhood. Due to her constitution, relationships with lovers and family are difficult, and she lives a hermit-like existence, barely surviving on tempura made from wild plants, a recipe her grandmother taught her.
Then, an encounter arrives that shatters this ordinary life.
“Don’t leave my side. If you don’t want to be forgotten again…! From here on, hell would be better! (※Teruhiko)”
“What are these guys?! (※Iyo)”
In the dilapidated city, she finds herself forced to act alongside Teruhiko, a mysterious, handsome swordsman who slayed a demonic, inhuman creature (Tsuchigumo) that attacked her. She is then targeted by the venomous fangs of the evil demon, Gedoumaru (Shuten-doji).
Himiko, Teruhiko’s sister, has foretold
the only remaining sacred site of “liberation,” Hyuga Province (present-day Miyazaki Prefecture).
To open the door to this sacred place,
the two head towards Yamato in Kyushu, where the remnants of humanity, the resistance, are holed up.
~MAIN CHARACTERS~
■ Teruhiko
“Purify and cleanse all evil sins and defilements—.”
Estimated to be in his late twenties. He is a somewhat blunt character who doesn’t speak much, and is an exorcist swordsman who purifies Magatsukami (evil gods) with Shinto purification prayers using an ancient bronze sword. His true identity is the prince of the destroyed, mythical nation of Yamatai (Amaterasuhiko, also known as Nigihayahi, the sun god). Guided by the light of the divine beast mirror (Yata no Kagami) entrusted to him by his sister, Himiko, he is burdened with a cursed karma: unable to age or die, he continues to fight, guided by goddesses hidden behind a door. He carries the trauma of failing to protect Princess Toyo, a candidate for the next queen, during the great war of that time. He continues to exorcise the Magatsukami, who will appear as long as darkness exists in humanity, and is destined to be unable to love anyone. His beloved vehicle is a red Suzuki GSXR-125.
■ Himiko
The mysterious queen of Yamatai. When the kingdom collapsed, she entrusted the mirror to her younger brother, Teruhiko, and disappeared without a trace. She has a strained relationship with Teruhiko, who often curses at her whenever they meet, due to Toyo’s death, and they frequently clash. Appearing across time in various forms and ages—as a young girl, an old woman, a woman of marriageable age, etc.—she leaves behind many mysterious words and actions. There is a rift between her and her younger brother over the death of the heroine, Toyo, and he curses at her every time they meet, but to her, it’s like a puppy’s playful nipping, as she displays her overwhelmingly superior spiritual power.
Model Myth (Amaterasu)
■ Toyo
A young girl who was a candidate for the next queen of Yamatai. She possessed immense spiritual power, so great that she was feared by those around her. Her superhuman spiritual aura caused both awe and resentment among the priestesses who disliked Himiko’s presence. She was a cheerful and innocent girl who was dissatisfied with her older brother figure and tutor, Teruhiko, treating her like a child, and often caused trouble for him and his retainers. However, during the Yamatai attack by evil gods, she lost her life in the flames of battle at the hands of enemy soldiers.
Model Gods (Seoritsuhime, Toyotamahime, Toyoukehime, etc.)
■ Gedomaru
Gedomaru is a pale, beautiful young man with long red hair, but beneath his clothes lies a hideous demon dwelling in the underworld, gradually transforming into an evil spirit. His true identity is Shuten-doji, a wicked demon who kidnapped a princess from the capital during the Kamakura period and devoured the flesh and blood of many humans. He has a wild and childlike personality and constantly competes with Teruhiko, his sworn enemy since ancient times. He shows capricious affection to those who protect him and children with whom he shares a bond, but his true nature is that of an undeniable demon with cannibalistic urges. Shuten-doji is also said to be the son of the Nine-Headed Dragon King of Togakushi Mountain, and in this work, he manifests as a cellular clone of the Nine-Headed Dragon, engaging in a battle that transcends history with Teruhiko, who has a connection to the Susanoo lineage. He possesses the power to summon the Magatsukami armor under the mental control of the Nine-Headed Dragon King.
■ Ito: A strong young man in the surviving human remnants (resistance). A reliable man who believes in muscles more than anyone and never misses his training.
■ Natsu: A girl in the resistance. With a boyish appearance, she is often mistaken for a boy due to her active nature. She favors a crossbow engraved with a curse mark for use against Magatsukami.
宮崎市の市民の森(みそぎ池)。黄泉の国から逃げ帰ったイザナギノミコトのみそぎにより誕生した日本神話の神々(天照大神・ツクヨミ・スサノオら三貴神)のはじまりの聖地(日本神話はじまりの地といえる)である。

ヒーローとは、子どもたちの記憶に深く刻まれ、その人格形成や倫理観の礎となる存在です。
しかし、昨今のエンターテインメント業界を見渡せば、その責任の重さに反するような混迷や、信頼を揺るがす出来事が絶えません。
物語の裏側にある「歪み」が露呈するたび、かつてアイドルやスター、ヒーローたちから夢や生きる熱をもらってきた若者たち、
そしてエンタメを通じて純粋に夢を追う人々の心には、言いようのない影が落とされています。
消費のみを追求し、声なき声が見落とされていった先に、私たちはどこかで、何か大切なものを忘れ去っていたのではないでしょうか。
だからこそ今、私たちは「禊（みそぎ）」の地、そして「岩戸神楽」が伝わる宮崎から、新たな一歩を踏み出したいと思うのです。
かつて天岩戸の前で八百万の神々が舞い、世界に光を取り戻したという「芸能のはじまり」の記憶。その原点の光を絶やさぬよう、人々の心に真の癒しと希望を届けること。

Every time the “distortions” behind these stories are exposed, an indescribable shadow is cast over the hearts of the youth who once drew passion and dreams from idols and stars, and those who purely chase their dreams through entertainment.
In a world pursuing only consumption, where silent voices are overlooked, perhaps we have all forgotten something profoundly important.
This is precisely why, at this moment, we are taking a new step forward from Miyazaki—the land of “Misogi” (purification) and the origin of “Iwato Kagura.”
We look back to the very dawn of performing arts, where the myriad gods danced before the Heavenly Rock Cave to bring light back to a world plunged into darkness. To ensure that original light never fades, we aim to deliver true healing and hope to the hearts of people today. Our mission is to carefully nurture an authentic “Japanese Hero” and reconstruct the “forgotten heart of Japan” with an unprecedentedly profound depth.

ここ宮崎の地には、二千年の時を超えて変わらぬ「光」が眠っています。八百万の神々が降り立ち、原初の禊（みそぎ）が行われたこの聖地。そこには、長い歴史の層に深く沈んだ、
日本という国の真なる精神の背骨――「霊性（Spirituality）」が、今もなお息づいているのです。

This is the current tide—where the waves of trends wash away the essential truths we must cherish. We believe that, standing slightly apart from this clamor, there lies a value that must be protected and passed on.
Here in the land of Miyazaki, an eternal “Light” remains, slumbering for over two thousand years. In this sacred ground, where the myriad gods descended and the primordial ritual of Misogi (purification) was performed, the true spiritual spine of Japan—the essence of Spirituality—still breathes deep within the layers of history.
“The Sun Prince AMATERIAS” is more than just a hero. While inheriting the aspirations born from one of Japan's premier national cultural festivals, it is a “Future Myth” that re-examines forgotten ancient truths through the lens of cutting-edge digital technology and the filter of human sensibility.
We do not create stories intended merely for consumption. Our mission is to unleash the “Shared Heritage of Ancestral Memories”—now fading through the passage of time—from their authentic sacred origins to the world.
This latest installment unveils the rebirth of the “Amatsukami-no-Yoroi” (Armor of Celestial Grace), featuring overwhelmingly exquisite design work. Coupled with mystical and delicate character visual art, it colors a drama woven of silence and passion—an ensemble piece reflected and illuminated as if through a gallery of mirrors.
