Lil Nas Xの「Old Town Road」もそうだったように、若者中心にTikTok発の流行が始まる昨今ですが、アメリカのTikTokでは、K Campの「Lottery」という曲に合わせた”Renegade”ダンスが現在流行中です。
このダンスの振付を考え出した生みの親が、米ジョージア州アトランタ在住の14才の女子中学生、ジャライア・ハーモンさんです。

去年の秋、自宅で”Renegade”ダンスの振付を考案中の時の様子です。
著名なインフルエンサーなどが彼女の”Renegade”ダンスをSNSで公開し、一気に流行したのですが、ダンスの振付を考え出したのがハーモンさんだという事実は置き去りにされていました。ダンスの振付にも著作権は認められているんですけどね。
幸い、ニューヨーク・タイムズの記事や、K Campの公式Twitterアカウントで紹介されたことで、”Renegade”ダンスの振付は彼女の功績ということが認知され始めています。
